Manprit Buttar, DVM

Dr. Buttar started El Cerrito Veterinary Care in July of 2019.

Dr. Buttar has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 1998 and in the Bay Area since 2006. Before moving to the Bay area he practiced in Michigan, Ontario, Alberta, and India.

He completed his B.V.Sc (Veterinary Medicine) in 1998 in India, and after working there for more than 3 years, moved to Canada. He completed his ECFVG requirements in Canada (University of Guelph) and the USA (Tuskegee). He practiced in Canada until 2004 before moving permanently to the United States.

He has a special interest in Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Dentistry. He is also experienced in handling pet emergency procedures. He has more than 21 years of experience handling surgeries, dentistry, and veterinary emergencies.

He looks forward to serving the communities of El Cerrito, Kensington, Albany, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, El Sobrante, San Pablo, other parts of East Bay, and the Bay area in general.
