Heather Kriensky, DVM

Dr. Kriensky joined El Cerrito Veterinary Care in November of 2019.

Dr. Heather Kriensky, a native Californian, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, then went on to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997 from UC Davis.

She enjoys family time, hiking, traveling, watching classic movies, and eating her husband Boon’s gourmet cooking. Her pets include her beloved Shih Tzu Brunswick, rescued as a puppy, now 14 years old, and kitty Thelma who was dumped as a newborn with her siblings and hand-raised by Dr. Kriensky. She is thriving at 17 years old now.

As a veterinarian, she is dedicated to the health and well-being of her patients, instilling trust and confidence in her clients. She provides thorough evaluations and explanations to help guide clients to make the best possible decisions for their pets.
